SurfBlue were approached to construct a Stretch Mini Limo for the wedding car of a local Mini enthusiast. Determined to have the 'perfect car' for the wedding this project led to the creation of a unique and rare Mini limo example...
The car is still available for hire at Weddings and functions and can be booked/viewed at the dedicated website; www.stretchmini.co.uk.
This is my (Daps) Clubman estate. I've had 'Matt' for about 3 years now and in it's time it has had it's fair share of work. It started life as a 998 (when i got it, 1100 originally) in satin black. I had a thurst for power one day and desided to fit a 2.0 8v vauxhall engine to it.... as you do.
Making the subframe from scratch and driveshafts made to suit I made everything myself bar a little help from my friends ('Matt' wouldn't be here now without them). Not really a garage car but something i knocked up in my garage to quench my speed thurst!
This is Rose's Mini Cooper Spi that she has had from new. The car came to us in a very sorry state needing more than it's fair share of panels replacing. She then decided that she loved the car too much (like we all do) and decided to have it lovingly restored to its original glory.
A brand new heritage shell later the project was underway, having a gorgeous coat of flame red and white diamond on the roof it looks better than new. All bushes and fixtures and fastners were replaced on this restoration and it came out looking better than we could of imagined.
This is Helen Catlows Pride and joy Mini Cooper S Touring. She Loves this car very much and drives it daily.
After many years of daily driving it was in need of some panelwork like most minis so got a generous helping of Genuine Heritage panels including 2 front wings, front panel, a panels, scuttle, top dash rail, step sills, rear boot hinge panel, valance and closing panels and sills. Needless to say its a gorgeous looking Mini again and back on the road where it needs to be.
We are proud to showcase a few of our projects and we will be adding new ones as they happen...
